Just came back back frm a 2500 miler from Eastern WA to Lander WY and back. Had all kinds of weather 35 degrees and snaow, hail and rain 2 days, and hot weather coming back 98 in Vale Or and 105 in Pendleton, OR. So layering is important as is being dry and then cool. I ended up blistering my lips so sun block is important. Plan on about 100 miles between gas stops and I once ran 20 miles on the reserve and was still moving. Back up was syphon hose and extra fuel in brothers HD Road King. Old two laners are much more fun and relaxing than the Interstate slabs. Have a blast Max
